See you standing there I ain't got a choice Got to get out of here tonight Time is running out adrenaline running high Someway somehow I've got to take flight First words leave your lips and I'm out the door No clue at all where I'm gonna go I've got what you need You can try and track me down Just know that I never run alone Yeah we've stormed the gates Now come stampeding out On with the chase but not for too long Follow the setting moon leads to the rising sun at this rate I'm going on gone Night fades into day time makes truth of lies but you know only the loser keeps track You could be a million miles away but that's much too close for me it's all or nothing now there's no looking back
2.
your heartbeat quickens unnaturally as you approach the door but you open it anyway even though winter lies incredibly far away even though you've been coerced into destroying a monster who may not even exist minutes, hours, days an unknown, boundless amount of time passes since you opened the door like the undead you've been chosen to fight, you lurch endlessly forward as if in a trance after what seems like infinity, the walls darken uncharacteristically they drip with a viscous liquid which burns to the touch the water's hue slowly drifts to an unfamiliar, foul-smelling red suddenly eyes are burning into you the earth and sky are tainted raw black trees burn crimson, and grass has been stained the freezing air howls through the icy endless night as you stand, shivering the cold pierces your eyelids as your senses dull and your head begins to throb an immense feeling of dread overshadows you tearing your brain apart at the stem
3.
The deceptive lines drawn so long ago fade away as opposing territories merge It's alright to make up what you don't know rationale steps back and emotions surge Everything in your dreams cannot exist on its own Is it possible to continue thinking this way Never was there anything to show for what you've sown Just inconceivable that tomorrow starts today See now a vision of a past that is serene relive until you reach a golden age Know that you cannot move against the flowing stream somehow feels free to run inside the cage The mind no longer keeps track or stays aware Prepare for the journey inward to satisfy the soul Cross over reality and project into the air Don't take this chance to assume a brand new role Standing still yet moving forward in the worst possible form Listen to the smallest side has it been there all along Everything in your dreams cannot exist on its own impossible to continue thinking this way Never was there anything to show for what you've sown Inconceivable that tomorrow was once today
4.
I've done some thinking Introspection of myself how could it be that I'm unique Isn't it possible that a man the same as me could be thinking a thought the very same as mine Out there beyond the scope of sound beyond the time and space It's a little bit too loud Out there just a little bit more time wait for the universe to unwind is it worth some peace of mind I can't help wondering what is the master plan and am I meant to know the secrets that it holds? What should I look for I wish I had a sign that the life I seek is yours and not just mine I will not fight what's been called of me to accept, it means I've chosen the path of time I'm a hundred percent something lies out there and I'll be sure to find it Just give me a sign Just give me a sign I took a journey to the capital city something told me it's where I needed to be I wondered crosstown many an hour Until I saw that flier it's what I came to see I met all the scholars, scientists and doctors since I was the first they'd do it for free I was on my way to a parallel world where I'd meet the man who thinks like me
